JJW Watches presents this excellent condition Full Set and now discontinued Rolex Milgauss. This model, now discontinued, is highly sought after watch by Rolex collectors and enthusiasts around the world, adding an unparalleled charm and value to any collection.
Made for the scientific community, the Rolex Milgauss was designed to resist magnetic fields of up to 1,000 gauss, hence the name given ‘Milgauss’. This was a ground-breaking development by Rolex for its time, setting this watch apart from others in the market. The 116400GV model, with GV standing for “Glace Verte”, French for green glass, features a unique green sapphire crystal – a distinctive element of the timepiece which was a first in watchmaking when introduced.
The 40mm stainless steel case embodies a seamless design with the iconic Rolex Oyster bracelet constructed from Oystersteel. It is powered by the Rolex’s inhouse automatic calibre 3131 movement, known for its precision and reliability. The black dial with its vibrant orange lightning bolt second hand adds a touch of fun and flair to the watch, making it stand out.
The Rolex Milgauss comes with an antimagnetic shield to protect the movement, ensuring its superb performance even under extreme conditions. The luminous hour markers and hands against the black dial provide excellent readability, no matter the lighting condition.
The Rolex Milgauss 116400GV represents the daring spirit of innovation that is Rolex’s hallmark. Its elegant design, combined with practical features make it a watch of choice for those who appreciate the finer things in life.
